we are discovering that keeping a blog is hard business ... is not much that we update the post and, on this muggy evening at the end of July, at some point a light bulb comes on and you think "now a few words we will write!"
in September we'll release our new record, now turns into the news network that is not new, but maybe say a few thoughts about the Domino / Consequence could be also a good exercise for us to rearrange the ideas on what we have done.
the birth was long, four years ago came out Trama and unfortunately we have spent time more than expected. the causes are many: carmelo (bass) who left the group in a day of late spring, the search for a new bass player, marco (drums) for six months was in Dublin, the songs that we composed in the meantime was not convincing us... perhaps it would be fun to talk about the waste of Domino, the songs from one day to have been abandoned in favor of the new ...I will come to mind two in particular: one is called "white silver," a 6 / 8 trascinante and airy, which proposed in 2004 all'alpheus, playing with klimt, morgana's kiss and Kardia. the other was entitled (provisional?) "doped waves, even a 6 / 8 (strangely on Domino songs are all in 4 / 4) melancholic, maybe without nice qualities where it was developed, but with of ideas which was a shame to leave.
we like to think that perhaps the history of music (with all our awareness not to make us part, reflect in general) is also the history of things abandoned, and a view through its waste more effectively shows how many possibilities are able to give those blessed 12 notes (including midtone) ... maybe reuse some ideas for the third disc, or perhaps only two titles will be written on this post, and perhaps without even the consolation that scripta manent ...
